She is an organizer for the #SickofitTX campaign, and manages CDF-TX’s efforts to reach families where they are, with messages that resonate with them. In her role, she helps Texas families stay informed, connected to resources, and organized to advocate for change. Cindy comes to CDF-TX from direct service, and previously served as a case manager in the South Bronx, where she helped residents find affordable housing. She also has a background in spoken word. With deep love for both policy advocacy and storytelling, Cindy is grateful to be able to do both for CDF.

Cindy graduated from the University of Chicago and earned her Master’s of Public Affairs from the LBJ School.
