CDF-Texas was so pleased to honor this year’s resilient scholars as well as uplift the vital work the
CDF-Texas Team is doing to change the odds for all Texas children.
Special thanks to the sponsors who make this work possible. We were also glad to have CDF President and CEO Rev. Dr. Starsky Wilson give a keynote speech that stirred us into action. And, as always, it was a privilege to celebrate the 2021 Beat the Odds Honorees whose courage in sharing their stories continues to inspire us. You are movement builders!
#30DaysofThx was a donor-centered countdown to this year’s Beat the Odds Awards Celebration. Starting April 20, we featured the folks who make our work possible, from long-time supporters to behind-the-scenes volunteers. It was an intentional effort to publicly express appreciation without time or space constraints, and it was from the heart.
