Rachel’s work as a political campaign fellow, which focused on increasing voter engagement and awareness, and her work in a congressional office provided her with a well-rounded perspective on how the public, especially young people, can influence policy and government. Her organizing in both the community and on campus gave her more insight into how grassroots movements and coalitions are built and maintained. She looks forward to helping young people become more active in their own governing and to help them see what they can accomplish when they work together.
Rachel graduated from the University of Houston in 2020 with a degree in Political Science.
